These prints are drawings by Artist Jessica Joy Hiemstra. They are made from drawings for a writing and film project called WE WERE HERE led by writer Mary Fairhurst Breen. The purpose of the project is to offer a glimpse into the shortened lives of just eleven of thousands of Ontarians killed by fentanyl in recent years. This project focuses on the lives of these eleven young people - who they could have been, and how loved they are.
