Inspired by the folktales of Scandinavia and her own childhood in the forests of Canada, Jessica wrote a little story about an unlikely friendship between a hare and a fox for Accent Decor. The story is bound in a beautiful handmade book. Writing this little tale was the start of a marvellous collaboration - between women making paper in Nepal, master mold-makers in China and Sarah Bagle, Accent Decor's creative director.
Accent Decor also brought Eric & Eloise to life with an enchanting collection of accessories designed by Jessica: everything from delicate, gold-embossed bisque-ware to knit ornaments and votive candleholders. The unlikely duo of Eric and Eloise now grace plates, bowls, gift wrap, wall mounts and more, accompanied by their misfit Framily.
Eric & Eloise products are in stores across North America. And, like all of Jessica's books, the Eric and Eloise storybook comes autographed, with three complimentary miniature prints of artwork from the book.
Jessica also released the second book in the Eric & Eloise series, While the Forest is Sleeping, a simple New Year’s Eve story that follows Beatrice the bear and her cubs, and features all of the characters from the Eric and Eloise world.
